The air dryer plays a key role in the braking system. The valves do not function efficiently if the outlet air stream is wet.
The compressed air stream enters the water separator and removes a significant portion of moisture. Then the air is refined, passing through a microfilter in the initial filter. The compressed air stream enters the adsorption towers and is dried by an adsorbent. Finally passes through a final filter.
