MAPNA Rail Technologies (former MAPNA Faiveley Pars) was established by a joint venture between MAPNA Group and Faiveley Transport and started its activities in the MAPNA Locomotive Company site in Karaj. The company primarily procured railway equipment (braking and HVAC systems); however, it has recently focused on the design, manufacture of railway equipment based on technical knowledge, expertise, and a decade of experience. The main activities of MAPNA Rail Technologies are following:
- Supply and manufacture the braking and HVAC systems of freight and passenger locomotives
- Supply and manufacture the braking system of metro cars
- Reconstruction and maintenance of braking system
- Supply and manufacture the HVAC system of passenger coach
- Manufacture the HVAC system of different types of locomotives
- Reconstruction and maintenance of HVAC system
- Manufacture of metro door systems
